PUBLIC NOTICE | Grant –In-Aid: Advertisement
Organizations and bodies that qualify in terms of the criteria and prescriptions contained in Bitou Municipality’s Grant-in-Aid Policy and Section 67 of the Municipal Financial Management Act 2003 are hereby invited to submit proposals for Arts Festival Programs to be undertaken during the month of March 2025.
Only applications submitted on the prescribed application form and accompanied by all the required information, documentation, financial statements, covering letter, etc., will be considered.

Bitou Municipality is aware of the recent social media posts regarding the closure of Wild Waters Plettenberg Bay and would like to correct some mistruths made in the public domain.
The decision to close the facility was not a decision of Bitou Municipality but that of the tenant who has declined an 11-month lease offered by Bitou stating that it would not be financially viable for them to continue to operate the water park.

More than a hundred Bitou residents received their long-awaited title deeds at the Simunye Community Hall this week.
This Title Deed Outreach is part of Bitou’s accelerated plan to ensure that residents get their title deeds timeously.
By 2026 the Bitou hopes to hand over 5000 title deeds to property owners.
