Responsibilities of role: 

● Fieldworkers will be issued with capturing devices to collect and/or verify owner/occupant, property, and infrastructure details at properties in the different suburbs and towns in the Bitou Municipal area 

● Fieldworkers are expected to capture accurate information during a door-to-door survey to properties.

Dear Residents

All Bitou Municipality’s Revenue Management Services offices will be closed on Friday, 1 
December 2023. This means that the office at the Second Floor of Mellviles Corner as well as all 
cashiers that are placed in the different wards will be closed. This is due to Employee Wellness Activities that will take place on the day. 

The offices will open at 07h30 on Monday, 4 December 2023. 

Local SMMEs are needed for the upgrading of Spreeu Street, Kranshoek,for Sub-contracting purposes. 

The local SMMEs are requested to bring their COMPANY PROFILE to the meeting.

Hardly three months after the sod-turning event for the Ebenezer Housing Project, the first tranche of beneficiaries will spend Christmas in their homes. 

Today Bitou Municipality leadership handed over houses to 10 families from New Horizons in the presence of Western Cape Minister of Infrastructure, Tertius Simmers. 

Notice is hereby given to the public that the Token Identifier (TID) Rollover Project will commence in Ward 2 on Monday, 4 December 2023.  

What is the Token Identifier Rollover Project?

It is a national project that requires all prepaid electricity meters to be upgraded before the existing software expires on 24 November 2024. Therefore, it is crucial that all the Prepaid meters in the Bitou Municipality be upgraded to comply with this national requirement. 

How will the TID be implemented?

Bitou Municipality hosted the SANDF's Military Academy based in Saldanha as it embarked on its annual exercise named "the Trans Enduro" today, December 4, 2023.

The Trans Enduro is a land and sea expedition from Gqeberha to Saldanha, and Plettenberg Bay is an essential stop on this expedition.
