A portion of Plett Main Street will be closed on Saturday 16 December 2023, due to the annual Main Street Festival.

EVENT | Intergovernmental Relations ll Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Imbizo

Intergovernmental Relations ll Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Hon. Njabulo Nzuzo, will host a Services Imbizo in Bitou.

The Deputy Minister will monitor Home Affairs service delivery with a focus on ID collection.

PUBLIC NOTICE | Closure of All Bitou Municipality’s Revenue Management Services Offices

Dear Residents. 


All Bitou Municipality’s Revenue Management Services offices will officially close on 
Thursday, 21 December 2023. This means that the office at Second Floor Melville’s Corner 
as well as all cashiers that are placed in the different wards will be closed. 
The offices will open at 07h30 on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.

The pair had combined resources with key stakeholders and role-players in tourism, safety, and transport to greet guests at the entrance to Plettenberg Bay, N2, on Saturday, 16 December 2023.

PUBLIC NOTICE | Raising of Long-term Debt to the amount of R45 150 000, 00

It is the intention of the Bitou Local Municipality to finance the capital projects as per attached information statement, which sets out particulars, including the amount of the proposed debt and the purposes for which the debt is to be incurred. No security is to be provided for the loan. The loan will be repaid bi-annually over a maximum period of 10 years at an estimated interest rate of 12.50%, with an estimated annual repayment of R 8,033,292.87 million. The total interest charges over the loan period will amount to R 35,182,928.66.
