Notice is hereby given that a special council meeting that was held on the 11 December 2023 resolved under resolution to revise C/1/188/12/23 a section of the 2023/2024 IDP. The purpose of this revision is to include the following MIG programme projects for funding: 

1. Upgrade Gansevallei Wastewater Treatment Works
2. Upgrade bulk 355mm waterline Plettenberg Bay WTW to Keurbooms.
3. Kwanokuthula Bulk outfall sewer
4. Wittedrift (Green Valley Bulk Supply Line)
5. Wittedrift (Green Valley New 1,5Ml water reservoir)
6. Wittedrift (Green Valley Bulk outfall sewer with pumpstations)
7. Wittedrift (Green Valley Sportfield Floodlights)
8. Ebenezer Portion 3 – Bulk Sewer
9. Kwanokuthula Sportfield Floodlights
10. Ebenezer High Mast lights and streetlights
11. Specialized Vehicle (Combination Truck) for sewer reticulation and pump station maintenance

Section 16 (1) (a) (i) of the MSA compels the municipality to encourage and create conditions for community participation in the preparation, implementation and review of the Integrated Development Plan. 

Copies of the 2023/24 IDP can be obtained from the IDP office, Bitou municipality website and all public libraries. Interested parties, individuals and organizations are invited to submitted written representations and comments to the Office of the Municipal Manager on or before 12 December 2023 – 12 January 2024.
