Notice: Is hereby given in terms of Section 28(3) of the Municipal Systems Act (Act No. 32 of 2000) prescribes that the Municipality must inform communities about the particulars of the process it intends to follow in drafting the Integrated Development Plan. 

On Monday, 25/08/2025, Council adopted the 2025/2026 IDP Process Plan and Budget Time Schedule. The council resolution gives effect to sections 28, 34 of the Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2002, and section 21 (b) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003 

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 22(a) of the Local Government: Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003) and Section 18 of the Municipal Budget and Reporting Regulations 2008 respectively, that the Annual Budget 2024/2025, tariffs and IDP was approved during the Special Council meeting held on 30 May 2025.

Notice is also hereby given in terms of Section 25(4) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act. No. 32 of 2000) that the 2024/ 2025 review of the IDP (2022 – 2027), was also adopted during the Special Council meeting held on 30 May 2025.

Notice is hereby given that a special council meeting that was held on the 11 December 2023 resolved under resolution to revise C/1/188/12/23 a section of the 2023/2024 IDP. The purpose of this revision is to include the following MIG programme projects for funding: 

WARD 1 IDP Based Public Meeting at the Witterdrift Community Hall.
