Kranshoek storytellers looking forward to regular meetings

Kranshoek was a hive of activity on 17 May as storytellers from the area came together to share their stories at the Oral History Festival.

The festival, organised by Bitou's library services team, was launched by Western Cape MEC for Cultural Affairs and Sports (DCAS) Anroux Marais. 

The aim of the festival is to honour stories from the communities told by people from the communities.

Library Services Overview

Public Libraries manages the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the provision of  effective library services and monitors the execution of procedural sequences/requirements associated with aligning standards to meet customer objectives, attending to the acquisition, organization of information and interacting and providing users with information from various media, creating an environment conducive to learning through  the arrangement of displays and signage of new library materials and attending to administrative reporting and record updating requirements.
