This is an invitation to register on the EPWP Database as well as the EPWP Database Registration Forms. 

The closing date for submissions is 31 May 2024. 

The EPWP Programme is a key government initiative, which contributes to Government Policy Priorities in terms of decent work & sustainable livelihoods, education, health; rural development; food security & land reform and the fight against crime & corruption. 

PUBLIC NOTICE | Door To Door Survey: Bitou Revenue Enhancement Program

Council has embarked on a revenue enhancement initiative to ensure that the various service charges, as set out
in Council’s approved tariffs and charges schedule, are correctly levied to all categories of users in accordance with the relevant policies, by-laws, and legislation.

The revenue enhancement initiative will see to it that all categories of properties are treated equally and fairly by ensuring that Council’s approved tariffs for the respective financial years are correctly applied.

PUBLIC NOTICE | Bitou Modifies Operations To Manage Baboon And Human Conflict

Bitou Municipality will be implementing measures to reduce the food source available to baboons that are causing problems in the Plett South area.  This will cover the area from the intersection of Robberg/Lismore roads to Piesang Valley road and will reach as far as Daedalus Reef Drive on the seaward side.

 

PUBLIC NOTICE | Calling for Inspection of the Third Supplementary Valuation Roll (SV03) and Lodging of Objections

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49(1)(a)(i) and Section 78(5) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No.6 of 2004), hereinafter referred to as the “Act” that the third Supplementary Valuation Roll for the 2021/2025 financial year is open for public inspection at the various municipal offices and libraries within the municipal boundaries and in addition at: www.bitou.gov.za from 14 June 2024 to 14 July 2024.
