A relevant Professional Information Communication Technology qualification ● 2-5 years relevant experience required.

● Coordinate the organisation’s computer systems, design new system architecture, monitor and maintain information business systems, troubleshoot, and resolve system errors and inefficiencies ensuring uninterrupted functional operating ICT systems and applications ●Leads the day-to-day operational support for Business Systems ●Leads the configuration and maintenance of office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software, (i.e., Virus malware protection, office application suites and/or application software) ● Builds, patches, tests (check for compatibility issues, conducts QA) and deploys complex systems and platforms meeting clients’ needs and specifications ● Provides technical support (help desk) to users by troubleshooting problems related to business systems or platform performance ● Comply with Municipal Supply Chain Management Systems. ● Convey Technical information to users and promote understanding of current standing operating procedures with relation to access security, confidentiality and data protection ● Compile technical reports and workflows taking into account best practice and existing policies. ●Coordinate and control procedural administrative requirements, record keeping and reporting deadlines associated with the functionality. ● Keep abreast of developments, emerging trends and latest technologies in the ICT profession
