Bitou Municipality, in proud partnership with Nedbank, has launched the School Voucher Project—an initiative designed to support schoolchildren identified by local educators as in need of basic essentials.

This compassionate project is rooted in the belief that no child should feel inferior due to a lack of resources. Through school-based identification, vouchers will be distributed to ensure learners have the dignity and materials they require to thrive academically and socially.

As we approach Women’s Month, the Executive is especially mindful of the challenges many single mothers face. We hope this initiative not only uplifts our youth but brings a renewed sense of hope to parents who may be unable to provide these necessities on their own.
