QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

●Grade 12, preferably with Accounting / Maths / Economics.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

●Computer literate (Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, ●Proficiency in at least 2 of the 3 official languages of the Western Cape (read, write & speak), ●High level of ethical conduct, ●A high level of discipline, responsibility, confidentiality and accuracy are required, ●Good communication and analytic skills.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

●Perform clerical information processing tasks / activities associated with the updating and maintenance of SCM records, ●Attend to specific control sequences and filing documents applying laid down document control guidelines, ●Attend to specific office support applications with respect to the communication of procedural information, ●Assist with the enterprise information of tender applications received, ●Assist with declaration of interest in order to ensure compliance with SCM Regulations, ●Ensure compliance with SCM legislative requirements in terms of the MFMA, SCM Regulations, Preferential Procurement Regulations, CIDB Regulations and all applicable legislation, ●Perform specific secretarial sequences at meetings with regards to circulation and completion of attendance registers, recording details of proceedings / discussions and decisions / resolutions, ●Attend to procedural administrative requirements, record keeping and reporting deadlines associated with the functionality, ●Keep abreast of latest legislative changes, developments and emerging trends in the profession.
