Bitou Municipality herewith invites all interested Organizations who wish to be part of Bitou’s Local Economic Development representative forum. To qualify please complete an application form available at the Local Economic Development Forum at Office no 33, Melville’s Corner, Plettenberg Bay, 6600 on/before 16 September 2024. 

The forum will fulfill the following functions: 

• Support the Municipality with updating and implementation of the LED Strategy 

• Meet the challenges of economic development in Bitou and the region. 

• Assist with the implementation of economic strategies of the Municipality. 

• Monitor the implementation of the economic development projects. 

• Ensure that the resolutions from the LED Forum are implemented and reviewed. 

• Assist to facilitate access to funding for the implementation of LED Projects

The following structures or individuals will qualify to serve on the Forum: 

• Local Business sector departments 

• Government sector departments
