Bitou Local Municipality supports the use of alternative energy sources, like solar PV. 

To connect, potential installers of alternative energy sources must make an application and receive permission to connect before proceeding with the installation. 

Bitou Municipality has noticed that some installations in our area have not received the necessary permission and we are in the process of issuing notices for those installations to be registered.
