Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 46(3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act (Act 56 of 2003), read with Section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act, (Act 32 of 2000) that Bitou Municipality intends raising external loan funding in partial funding of its 2023/2024 capital program.

 The information statement in respect to long-term debt proposal is available for scrutiny at the municipal offices at shop 68 Melville’s corner shopping centre, and on the municipal website: www.bitou.gov.za. 

Written comments or representations in respect of the proposed debt, must be directed to the Municipal Manager at the address mentioned in this notice by no later than 21 March 2024 at 12H00. (Ismiler@plett.qov.za)
