Members of the public, especially individuals and companies that are associated with the Information Regulator (the Regulator), are warned to be on the lookout for individuals contacting them claiming to be calling on behalf of the Regulator. There are individuals claiming to be from the Regulator who are contacting individuals and companies/service providers inviting them to a meeting where tender documents are to be signed. These calls are fraudulent, and the intentions are criminal. The Regulator would like to caution all individuals and companies associated with it to exercise extreme care when they receive such calls, messages or e-mails. If you receive such calls, messages or e-mails please independently verify them with your official point of contact within the Regulator before acting on them.
