Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 127 (5) of the Local Government: Finance Management 
Act (Act 56 of 2003) read with Section 21A of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 
(Act 32 of 2000) that the Draft Annual Report for Bitou Municipality in respect of the 2022/2023
financial year and Mid – Year Budget and Performance Assessment (Section 72) Report for the 
2023/2024 financial year, are available for inspection at the following places:

The public is hereby invited to submit written comments or representations, if any, in respect of 
the 2022/2023 Draft Annual Rapport with the undersigned, by no later than Thursday, 15 
February 2024. Written submission should be directed to Mrs. L Jansen with the following 
particulars: ljansen@plett.gov.za or delivered to the Municipal Offices, 1 Sewell Street.

In terms of Section 21 (4) of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act, Act 32/2000 notice is 
hereby given that people who are not able to write can request any municipal official at any 
reception office of the Municipality in Plettenberg Bay to assist him or her in compiling his or her 
objection or representation in writing.
