Preparations of ward committees

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

The Ward Committee Information Meetings were completed this week. The four outstanding wards were successfully covered. These were wards 4, 5 and 6 as well as ward 7, which was done last night in Kraanshoek. All seven wards have been covered and inducted into the process of ward committee establishment.

We would like to thank the residents from the different communities for participating and making sure that the inductions ran smoothly.

On Monday, the week of 7 February 2022, we will be starting with the ward committee elections. We are starting the process of the new ward committee elections in ward 1 with Cllr. Jessica KamKam at Kurland Community hall at 18H00.

 A detailed schedule of the election meetings in the different wards will be communicated in due course.
